Lay a garment that fits you well flat on a hard surface and measure edge to edge with a soft tape. All AURENOATH measurements are taken flat, so this is the most accurate way to compare.
Waist
Measure the waistband flat from edge to edge and double it for the full waist. The drawcord allows for adjustment.
Front Rise
Measure from the top of the waistband down to the base of the crotch seam.
Inseam
Measure along the inside leg from the crotch seam straight down to the hem.
Leg Opening
Measure the width of the hem opening flat, across the bottom of the leg.
A note on our measurements
All figures are given in centimetres with inches beneath, taken flat and unstretched. Because each piece is finished by hand, allow a tolerance of roughly ±1 cm. When you're between two sizes, size down for a cleaner fit or up for extra volume.
Relaxed & Baggy
Runs loose with a generous leg. Meant to sit low and move easily — relaxed by design.
Drawcord Waist
An adjustable drawcord waist means you can dial the fit in to your comfort across a range of bodies.
True to Design
If you prefer a slightly cleaner leg, size down. For the fullest relaxed drape, take your usual size.
Cold hand wash only, inside out, to avoid shrinkage and preserve the length and leg. Do not machine wash. Hang dry — avoid heat and do not tumble dry. Cold hand wash, inside out — the garment will thank you.
Are the bottoms unisex?
Yes. All bottoms are cut for a relaxed, baggy unisex fit. Refer to the waist measurement and size to your comfort — the drawcord allows for adjustment.
I'm between two sizes — what should I choose?
These run baggy by design. Size down for a slightly cleaner leg, or stay with your usual size for the full relaxed drape. The drawcord waist gives you room either way.
Do they shrink?
To avoid any shrinkage, cold hand wash only and hang dry — never machine wash or tumble dry. Treated this way, the length and leg shape hold.
My measurement falls between chart values — is that normal?
Completely. Prioritise the waist measurement and use the ±1 cm tolerance as your guide. The drawcord absorbs small differences.
